Rocky
IBM hard drives are in some computers because IBM INVENTED THE DAMN PC!! I am sure their market share has gone down from what they originally had (100% of the market).

As far as Sony floppy - that was a longgggg time ago - how many computers did Sony manufacture when they originally release the floppy??? ZERO!!!!

you never answer my question-
again i will ask it
if i was Dell, GATEWAY ,Compaq, HP . why on earth would i put a product in my computer that is made and marketed by an up and coming competitor?

would i just because 13 years ago Sony introduce a product that became a standard???
would i even though there are other solutions that will not strengthen an aggressive competitor???

my point is you have not given me one clear reason why Sony's competitors will embrace this new product?

rocky wrong as usual

IBM has competition for hard drives, and the box makers are not in a dangerous sole source position using IBM

much different if they use sony drives

are you paid by an IOMEGA competitor to continually post here and elsewhere, or are you just the asshole that everybody says you are
