Maslyukov can stick it in his ear, he is completely full of it. He claims that Russia got in trouble because they follwed IMF advice and therefore we must give them more aid. What a load of garbage. The Russians never followed western advice and have openly laughed about it. In fact a major cause of their troubles is the fact that they ignored western advice to have open bidding on privatisation assets and instead turned over vast amounts of state owned industries for nominal amounts to the same oligarchs who are now bleeding the country dry. Poland was given the same advice, followed it and is doing much better than Russia. Maslyukov is just another in a long line of government officials whoa re just shills for the oligarchs and this latest bullshit is just an effort to pry more money out of the west for his bosses.
