Hopefully, the earnings report on Oct 22 will be positive and win back some support for BA. Until then, I don't think BA will be able to do much of anything.

I am long on BA, but increasing production efficiency is only part of the solution. Until the world economic stagnation is turned around the demand for airplanes will be below what will be required for BA stock price to really get back in the air. Undelivered planes to Japan sitting on the ground in Arizona in storage is not exactly beneficial to cash flow.

BTW, not matching Airbus unprofitable bids will payoff in the long run. One day soon Airbus is going to have to become profitable.
