Hello Dale,

I've seen it played both ways. I just use the cross BUT I know people who use the zero line and do quite well. You can also use a cross UP THROUGH the zero line with either the MA or MACD OR both......

Can't be much to it, Dale, except, perhaps in terms of the market environment -- buy above the line if you're in a top-fishing mood; below to bottom fish.
I mostly like the delayed signal as per Richard's 13-34-89.

[Buy/sell when the MACD crosses 0 is, of course, just the 2-EMA Xing.]
