Veritas is down because they diluted the stock 35% to buy part of Seagate Software. Also see LGTO today in a related story...ouch./@#*&.

VRTS competitor LGTO down big today too. Mr. Market is just taking everyone with even a hint a uncertainty to their story down. In fact, even those without a hint of uncertainty. This is what a crash with price decline controls looks like, I think. A controlled crash.

Cash is king.
