Hello Yaacov. I don't do Golf anymore. My back is not up to it. But it sounds like you are having a lot of fun with it. You must not be deep in stocks anymore. gg.

Yeah, our markets will be shaky for a while. Some of those smart guys have lots of money to make up so they will move this thing back and forth for a while. If you ever pay attention to that technical analysis, we almost revisited the lows in the DOW from last time around but did not go below it. Maybe we will go up for a while. Futures look very good last time I checked. I will give you the link and then check myself if it has changed since I last looked. Your markets will be opening up soon and should be doing alright if those futures hold up.

AMD came in better than expected after you went to sleep. Those techs should go up today. Analysts kept saying that the next quarter will be better for the techs but then decided lately: Maybe not. But those tech cos. are coming in with better earnings. Mot and now AMD. Intel's earnings are coming out on Tuesday after the market closes.
Maybe those guys want to get some more of those techs first before they are recommending them again. But who knows. They way the markets are going nothing is a sure thing lately. Some of the investors have been frightened out of the market or got margin calls.

I listened to some investors being interviewed. It was pretty funny. They were asked if they were getting out of the market and they said: Oh no, we are staying. Then they were asked if they had sold anything lately and they said: Oh yeah, plenty, but only for margin calls. gg. But hopefully everybody that was called, including those Hedge Funds, will be in the clear soon. A lot of investors have switched their funds around into other things than stocks. A lot of money managers sitting now on 50% or more in cash. One of these days they will have to commit it somewhere. Bonds are being touted. But at these prices and low yields: Forget it. I take my chances with stocks.
