I am aware of that. In order for Rambus memory to be viable and cost effective, chipsets and other components using rambus memory need to be designed in. (This takes a couple of years).

Furthermore, network devices are NOT constrained in CPU and memory speeds, they are limited by bandwidth (which is NOT what Rambus does).

Also the amount of network devices sold is SMALL relative to PC and gaming memory, and should have MINIMAL impact on Rambus dram sales.

So go push your RAMBUS stuff on the rambus thread.
