I'm not sure but I think one of those Republicans was former Senator Howard Baker. But you are right, the early stages of the impeachment hearings in 74 were along party lines. I guess it will be interesting to see which, if any Democrats take on a bipartisan perspective, now that the shoe is on the other foot. bp
