RE: "Fair value"

Some speak of "fair value" as if it meant some particular price -- but it is that old willing buyer - willing seller exchange ratio, but some buyers and sellers are more eager than other. I offered some INQ puts yesterday at a price 1/4 higher than the official ask, and someone nipped up and bought them, but I didn't notice the "official" bid and ask change. I don't know how that happened. WRT Dell, the fair value differs among people who use the term. You think it is higher than van does. Check S&P Reports for Dell fair value, they use the term. As of Oct 1, S&P reported "Fair Value" of Dell at $67.00, a *****Buy, Risk as Medium. The next report will be different!
