Jan. This Dow formation looks like the Bullish Signal Reversed pattern on p59 of "The Book". The text says to enter your sales/shorts/puts on the first DB break. That would be at Dow 7850.

The text goes on to say that covering the short on the first reversal back up is also a good idea. So you just had a profitable short trade!

But that leaves the Dow on a bearish signal? Best to stand aside for a while?

The text concludes by saying that such a formation doesn't come along often, but when it does, take action.

I love p&f, but I still hate October(s).
