Stocky,
They did massage the books but in the opposite way than you suspect. With only 3.8 million K6's sold they HAD TO THROW A BUNCH OF SALES INTO THE 4th quarter...just enough where they made a penny. They are already preparing for much better earnings in the 4th...

I am sure they did. I am disappointed at the reported CPU sales. They probably defer extra revenue as a safety margin for next quarter.
