<Industry experts predict the next generation of SANs will take on additional duties in
the network. "The next phase will be when servers aren't even dealing with requests,"
Ancor's Davis says. "Instead, the SAN will talk directly to the client." >>

I couldn't forget this and went back to find it again. It brings up major legacy issues for companies like SUNW, who make the bulk of their money selling big servers, and maybe they wouldn't really want the clients to bypass the server and talk directly to the SAN? Open Q) does SUNW really want the SAN to succeed? Any thoughts appreciated.

<<We also don't know why Hucom would not (or could not) pay:>>.... If in fact Netmarks does not assume Hucom's debt to Ancor, it would at least be nice if management could explain the uncollected payment. Perhaps they will include this on their agenda during the next conference call.

Pat, Ancor's most recent 10-Q indicates Hucom is bankrupt:
<The decrease in net sales is attributable to
three factors: (i) decreased sales to the Company's Japanese distributor, Hucom,
Inc. ("Hucom"); (ii) the Company did not recognize revenue on approximately $1
million in shipments to Hucom, whose financial and business circumstances create
uncertainty about the prospects for payment; >
