3.8 mil K6-2s sold and weak sales in the other areas. As the overall recovery starts for the industry earnings for AMD should surge with Dresden, K7, the 380 and 400, the new Tier 1 to be annouced, and improving fundamentals in the other business areas. Hello Ashok where are you?

McMannis - re: "Paul probably had a cow as soon as he realized that his "AMD loss FUD" has come to "

I was surprised that AMD made a profit, but let's get real - it's only a penny/share!

However, the income statement shows the biggest "revenue" item as Interest income of $10 million plus $9 million on operations.

Interest EXPENSE of $21 million nullified those two items and it was the Joint Venture with Fujitsu ($1.9 Million profit) that helped create the final profit of only $1 Million.

A profit is a profit - but this was not exactly a blow away performance.

Did you have a COW, Jimbo, when AMD went from $19 7/8 to $14 ?

Was it a really big COW, Jimbo ?
