Jay, I know it is sub-0.25, but do not know their exact design rules. AMD is still quite far from 40% unit market share. They shipped 3.8M MPUs and the total market is somewhere in the 22.5M to 25M range quarterly. They would have to begin penetrating the corporate sector to achieve these kinds of units. To this point, all their success has been in retail. They are moving to a 0.18 process next year and will have to outfit a brand new fab in Dresden. I'd guess they would purchase at least 20 DUV steppers/scanners over the next year. The effects should be minimal for the DUV market. We need a recovery in the memory and foundry market, before the boom times are here again.
