Speak with David Pawlak, You can get his 33 from 310-581-4030.
It wasn't a deal breaker for UMG or TXU or any of the Banks or Belgian Telecom. Perhaps you should sign up for their seminar. It will be held close to you.

"Bake off" between the DWDM Vendors in the Metro
world. <<

May I ask who the other vendors are? What is your opinion of the competition overall?

As far as the survivability issue, remember that the gigamux can work uni-directional or bi-directional, that is they don't HAVE to be connected by a single fibr but are most efficient that way.

Hi Tom,

I hope you got out in time. Nevertheless I wonder what you saw in the Ciena Labs? Negatives from Pirelli layouts or Avon enhanced balance sheets?

What is your "Bake off" all about. Tie breaker about what "box" from whom?

Tom

have you spoken to Tellium, the Bellcore spinoff. They have a metro WDM product. Their web site is not very helpful either but I have read some good reviews on them.
