kory, VERY nice piece. i've bookmarked it and will share it. regarding large companies that have gone bust - zenith is one. my ignorance of the other 4 don't prove your point, however, i will ask around and see if i get any takers. i've been in the game only during the goldilocks economy paradigm and you would expect few bankruptcies during such times.

again, nice piece.

btw, i heard warren was in a mass of cash ;-)

kory, the buy and hold new paradigm doesn't appear to worth 2 dimes. 48% of stocks are down 50% or more. 90% of stocks are down 20%. stock funds are seeing net withdrawals.

the dow is still very high and i expect as it falls all others that have already tanked will tank further.
