It is interesting that all of a sudden StockMan, and The self claimed Doctor Yousef are silent! I wonder if 911 is aware of their condition?

Maverick,

I think AMD can do much better than 15 cents in Q4. If they ship 4.8 million units in Q4 (very possible considering the OEM acceptance and the Christmas selling season), with an ASP of $120 (very possible if they ship hundreds of thousands of K6-2 400 Mhz), they will have an extra 167 million in K6 revenue versus Q3. If only 30% drops to the bottom line, they will have an extra net profit of $50,000,000; or 50 cents per share. With a PE of 20, we should have a $40 stock.

Pravin.

Maverick - Re: "AMD may earn 15 cents in Q4 98 if they keep carving out additional market share, "

Wow !

Thats what - about $16 MILLION in PROFIT ?

What a bonanza !

That's approximately Intel's DAILY PROFIT !

$1.3 Billion/Quarter * 1 Quarter/13 Weeks * 1 Week/7 Days = $14.3 Million
