No, I am not optimistic. The last working news was released on December 19 /97. This is almost 10 months ago. If exploration starts this year we will be very lucky. I don't think it will. This company has no official direction and leadership. Without it there is very little to expect for shareholders, company and San Jose. The agreement
itself may save us in the long run, but with the GHE scorecard this would be a miracle. Almost 50% of property for $2M in return without specific date of engagement, this is the reality of GHE's business direction.
I think that under different leadership San Jose property could serve its purpose and benefit its owners. The geology and the Au results were the reasons why I took my interest in the company. The failure is the conduct of this very company which WCM is having an agreement with. I am not surprise that WCM is holding back the money.
They know the property, but they know the GHE too. As long as we are looking at the same company of 1997, my answer to your question is "NO". Ron's is also right about having another "chance" or "kick", but the ability ends right there, as long as GHE will be the company we all, have the pain to know.

Regards
Robert

Because of the
material effect on the company's financial statements of the agreement in principle
announced Aug. 20, 1998, the audit of the company's Feb. 28 and May 31, 1998
consolidated financial statements has been delayed. The company expects the
completion of these audits and the issue of the financial statements by Oct. 15,
1998, and the holding of the company's 1998 annual meeting by Nov. 30, 1998.

Oct.20/ Still nothing. Were you able to find out anything about West Coast?
