Thanks, Cubby. I'm sure you meant that as a general response. I'm holding on with you, Wayne, and others. There's many lurkers watching but not posting.

Sometimes the patience runs a little thin but we're hanging on.

Hello! Cubby,

As we try to wait patiently for news from TNRG a speculative thought crossed my mind. Now please understand that this is just me guessing out loud and in no way is a reflection what may or may not be happening within the company.JMO!

In a very short period of time TNRG Management announced a number
of potentially exciting acquisitions and business and product developments. News releases and updates were very regular ( at least 2 per month prior to September 1998.)

Now! We are seating on the edge of our seats hoping to hear details of the many possibilities that have been eluded to in previous press releases and feedback from Mr. Tilton.

I will admit that it would be expecting alot if all the potential developments came to fruition in the very near future.

Also! Since I do not believe TNRG has been a cash rich company as of late ( just a guess!) I am trying to come to grips with how TNRG Management can aggressively invest in all the business possibilities with out any help from outside sources. JMO!

My wild card guess is that one possibility may be that through his shrewd business negotiating skills--maybe Mr. Tilton has harnessed a dynamic list of Businesses--realizing that TNRG under current financial restraints would not be able to bring all the businesses to their full potential----but as a combined unit presents itself as a very attractive buy out or merger opportunity.

I realize it sounds far fetched--and I don't really understand how those type of merger/buyouts actual would develop or come about--but I did want to share my opinion on it!

One thing that is very difficult to put a price tag on is the business contacts, time spent tracking down the deals and acquisitions that Mr. Tilton has accumulated--maybe one of these possibilities on their own is not as attractive to a large buyout merger candidate as having them all tied together in a nice little
coloured ribbon and bow. JMO!

Well there's one opinion. I know I have quite the imagination!

Let's see what the day's ahead bring. Personally I will be very disappointed if we do not get news from TNRG in October.

Just a personal thought if you are trying to contact Mr. Tilton by telephone. If he is not in when you phone of course you can leave a message--but my guess is that he is very busy and has a hectic schedule--keep trying until you get him. JMO!

Best Regards,

Wayne J.

Cubby, I hope like heck that the info you presented from your conversation with Tilton was accurate and that we'll be seeing lots of news clarifying all the questions in the near future. The problem is that Tilton has told others more than a month ago that news would be out "soon after Labor Day". In previous months he has stated that financials would be prepared "by September". Up until now Tilton has released a lot of information about the potential of all these wonderful business opportunities. That is why we all bought into this company. Now it's time to deliver on some of the potential. At the very very least it is not too much to ask what USBL basketball team TNRG owns. For me Tilton has to prove that he isn't just another penny sheister like so many others out there. So far both CHIF and TNRG have been big-time busts. Tilton has to start delivering on his promises.
