<<which would you rather have a president who lies to you because he really wants to do what he thinks is good for the country even though he knows you don't agree or one who hides a tawdry affair with a subordinate employee his daughters age>> Oh, Oh.Well I know that some one will call me a brain dead moron for this one but...Your first example would be much more scary to me .I am always afraid of people who are so sure of themselves that they feel that lying to others who's opinion is obviously flawed is ok. Remember Ollie North? In no way do I think that he didn't have the best interest of the nation at hart.In your first example I must assume that this president was forced to lie in order to get whatever program he thought was best for the country made into law. This would be a power grab justified because he knew what was best. And he was lying about some thing that I had a right to know the truth about. You already know what I think of the second President.
