A superior accounting of all those numbers. Just for the record here, the 25 day sum of the a/d has turned positive as of yesterday's numbers. This give a buy signal for the NYSE and will remain intact if todays a/d finishes with 800 more advances over declines. If it doesn't hold today, I'd suspect that 7400 will be broken.

We'll see...

Shark, in the rundown of summation smashes, a common denominator is the fact that they generally took two months
to get from the high to the summation low point. I'm wondering if this
may mean that we have seen the bulk of the decline, with a series of retests to follow, and that at worst, throwing in August-September 1990, the downside risk might be another 4 percent at most.
