bearshark, A superior accounting of all those numbers. Just for the record here, the 25 day sum of the a/d has turned positive as of yesterday's numbers. This give a buy signal for the NYSE and will remain intact if todays a/d finishes with 800 more advances over declines. If it doesn't hold today, I'd suspect that 7400 will be broken. We'll see... GZ

Shark, in the rundown of summation smashes, a common denominator is the fact that they generally took two months to get from the high to the summation low point.
