Loaning out their gold in the form of derivatives has been the easiest game in town for central banks for the past 3 or 4 years now. And, as always happens with "... easiest game(s) in town" they've become addicted to the game and way overextended themselves playing it. So, we now have a golden house of cards ready to collapse at the first sign of a breeze. Who's afraid of the Big [ hufff... ] Bad [ pufff... ] Wolf!?? $^)
