slava: that guy is an idiot. I look forward to seeing him lose all his money trading off his charts and graphs. The same braindead model type thinking is what got LTCM in trouble. (and will provide us w/ upward MO when the fool has to cover!) PE's expand at the bottom of the cycle hence you are at the bottom. thanks for the opposing view on gold stocks, slava. I guess he is basing his opinion on a presumption that the price of gold will not rise significantly, which most of us here believe it will. If gold is stagnant, he's right, but if it takes off, these companies' profits take off too and his valuation is way off. It takes opposing views to make a market, somebody has to sell me their stock. I appreciate seeing the opposite side of the coin though, if we just listen to LT all the time we get complacent (but we do probably because he has been correct so far . . . ).
