"Let's calculate this: If CSCO grows 30% year from current levels, we're looking at a valuation of approximately a quarter of a trillion by 2003. You may not be consciously greedy, but you sure are ignorant."

I don't think so. Let me do the math for you. Say, your bought CSCO stock some time last year - 1997, at $30.
30 percent annually will yield the following prices:
1997 - $30
1998 - $39,
1999 - $51,
2000 - $66,
2001 - $79,
2002 - $102.

IMO, considering:
all the current and future developments in data and voice networking technology + inevitable growth of Internet + CSCO's market position, business model, etc. -> $102 for CSCO's share in 2002 seems doable to me.

Of course you are entitled to your own opinion. No problema.
