AMD has received a number of MPEG patents recently. However, I couldn't find them on the IBM server using the suggested search terms. They're there -- I just just got tired of trying the different search fields and combinations.

Yes, this is the old Hans/Solo project, originally partnered with WebTV before Microsoft bought them out. I always thought pay-per-view and DVD in the same settop was a conflict of interest. "may you be the first product on the market with a compromised copyright protection scheme" -= Carnac =-
