Nikkei is up over 600 points as I write this. S&P futures are up over 16. I hope some good news comes out of Japan soon and this is not just a techincal bounce or short covering based on rumors...

May YHOO come to the rescue of the internets and tech stocks in general...

Sue

there is no H in "Baja", unless you are from Boston and drive a cah

but you are right, it is nice this time of year there

I checked with our cats about Winston
they say he should stay in Texas with all the other dogs like "dem Boys" gggg

I'm still trying to figure out why Winston picked the nets which have done so well while his Uncle Paul picked ones that have fallen deeper than those wells that he drills

(all in fun Paul) GGGGG

can't get my old putter to dial the net this morning
maybe it's time to take it to the shop and replace the 14.4 modem?
now, can I get that done before the open?

this is a market that you just can not trust; it seems to want to stay flat, in a tight range, or go down lower
cash is still king; very short term trades still the order of the day
stocks that fall "can't get up"
tax selling will make things even worse for fallen angels
the market kings are sick and in bed
not a clue what it will take to turn it for real but whatever that is is not out there right now

yesterday I sold off a few more hold positions
dumped my SRR for a loss, may do the same for the Z today
got out of my RCL whole plus about a cheap dinner in profit
in a tad of VRTS looking for a open gap (likely a dumb move)
took a very small position in KRB which tanked bad but which I know very well; one to watch but not to fall in love with right now
also started to rebuild a small new position in GCO

if I can get my other computer fixed will be watching:
AMD
AMR
BKB
BKS
CSCO
PGA (news)
RCL

Sue,
Can you or anyone else help me locate a very cheap stock that has been un justly beaten down to the penny stock level <Say under 2 dollars>???? I am looking to put a little money I have set aside for the "home run" into such a stock and am looking for suggestions. I would appreciate any responses.
