Interesting thoughts, Ward.

To add an interesting example. There was a time awhile back where my husband made all the picks and buys. He used a variety of methods, but all were based on some sort of reasonable analysis (charts, fundamentals) etc. But, when it came to selling some sort of emotional thing would get in the way fear/greed/indecision that he couldn't handle. I ended up doing the selling, not because I didn't have those same feelings, but I was somehow able to deal with them and just 'act'. We made a damn good team and respected each other's strengths. Lately he has been too busy at work so now we don't have buys that are as good. I'm more likely to just jump in if I like something where he was willing to wait for the right 'moment'. Anyway, maybe there are some gender-neutral traders out there who are making a hell of a good living!<G>

p.s. This is MOO (my observation only) and is not meant in anyway to imply there is a superiority of either sex, in case I have offended anyone.

This is a great thread!

Hi ward. I bow to your prowess, you have already shown me once before you can look at things from both sides. I still am working on performing as well on the "dark-side"<ggg> as well as you do!

Today should be a fun day for the gold bugs! IMF had there loan approved yesterday by the G7, this has resulted in a jump of $4.10US in the price of gold this AM. I am still holding alot of gold stocks so will be trading it and my favorite this AM.

Anybody playing the currency market saw the Canuck dollar jump 2c this Am and slowly settle back. US dollar is dropping against the yen and this bodes well for Gold this week! er-ah I should say this "moment"! In this market, we could reverse every 10 minutes!!!

Good luck out there!!
