They need only announce the intentions of doing something.

Remember when AG gave the intentions of lowering rates? Market ramped into the actual move then tanked....I would expect at least the initial rampin.....

no one in asia is going to do anything...well, maybe thailand, taiwan (until PRC invades<G>), and korea.

the rest of them are going to suck up IMF money and its going to be business as usual. its funny, we have been preaching capitalism forever, and these guys implement it. the problem is they dont do it the right way, then they blame the US for the problems.

its always the fault of the ugly americans. we dont understand their culture. i dont mind admitting there are times when i wish we would just tell the rest of the world to piss off.

before you think japan is going to do anything washington wants, you need to remember one thing...the japan that can say no.
