NE1 know how to determine if you have a video card and what type is in your PC?

Pls pardon the interruption (and low-end tech question) but I can't find a "PC 101" here on SI or over on Yahoo. If NE1 knows of a "PC 101", I'd greatly appreciate.

I've checked Win95 device mgr (system devices, display adapters and monitor parameters) to no avail. Maybe my PC doesn't have one (IBM Aptiva DX-486 that I upgraded to an Evergreen P-133 18 mos. ago) or it's on my motherboard (?).

Yes I know it's time to upgrade but shouldn't there be an easy way to see what video card is in a PC, rather than the PC checklist on the side of the shipping box? CompUSA personnel were of no help to me when I inquired there.

TIA,
Jack

PS. I also followed this thread a while back. Have various PC cfgs been displayed somewhere in this thread or at another website, ie. "Zeus' Top Picks"? It might be a good idea to put it in the Subject Header if there is one. :-)

Thx again, promise I'll get back up to speed on the thread soon. I remember there being a lot of helpful data being displayed early on.
