EDIT: meant to post this to Skeeter I think Manville filed with the asbestos issue and LTV with a pension problem. Continental Airlines several times. Not sure if Boston Chicken was big enough for your project and not sure if any of the silicon implant companies filed (maybe Corning). Then a couple of the subprime lenders recently and of course Texas Commerce Bank. Also PharMor filed after the executives were caught cooking the books. You might want to throw in the great salad oil swindle just for fun.
