CORRECTION

The Date of the testimony before the House Committee was November 4, 1997, not 1998. The point is, Gartner's latest estimate according to sources is that only 22% of the monies budgeted for Y2K have been spent.

That is still quite disturbing. And means that Y2K vendors should be receiving quite a bit of contracts in the near future.
