Hello Otter,

Seen this? Mr. Bill meets Ma Bell:

As for the Nasdaq,i.e. the economy, I think the market is beginning to factor in a mild deflationary recession. Mild, assuming the American consumer doesnt freak out and shut down spending when his 401(k's) go south. If the US consumer goes Japanese and ups the saving percentages to 2 or 3% of income, then we may have problems. However, since computer technology has been in a deflationary spiral for years, if demand and technological innovation continues, then we may be OK. More on this deflationary mess later.

What is the liklihood that Portico would be viewed as a cost cutting tool by IT corporate purchasers?

The futures are smoking tonight.

BTW Did you know that in the NO and KABUKI plays of classical Japanese literature that the hero is killed off in 96% of the plots?
Do you think this explains anything about their beehive cultural mentality and how difficult it is for a leader(hero) to emerge when change is thrust upon them?
