WITHIN, could be a year, five for certain.

If you've only been a trader for 2 1/2 years you've not been around long enough to know what I'm talking about, although you should by now...But you will....Pour over the reams of discussions over the last several years on the DELL thread and you will periodically find traders/shorters who've vehemently thought they could consistently time the market enough to make more money than a buy and hold investor...They all left the thread with their fur singed to a crisp, and none could offer any real life examples, whereas many on the DELL thread are already millionaires, you know, the buy and hold guys....Read the new book (you can find it on Amazon.com or at Barnes and Noble) called "The Bear Book" (can't remember the author) and you will find market timers will not ever do better than a buy and hold strategist, over the long term...Oh, from time to time it will look like it, but over the long term from all the people I've talked to and much research, market timers don't do as well.

Have a happy 5 years, George
