Please remind me about the context on the gas agreement: To what extent is the total development of PM3 depending on Vietnams delay? Do Vietnam own a % of the whole concession or is the gas question just about one field but not the entire concession? Interesting writing from you both, Tomas and balisurf! (RSO's position seems to be similar to that of SCQ/NAN,Tomas?)

Regards,
Gunnar

RE: Upstream's article on Libya. A comment

"Lundin hopes to submit a plan for the two fields to Libya's National Oil Company before the end of February. That could lead to first production in the second half of the year 2000."

They intend to submit the development plan as soon as Ramadan ends (around January 20?), and that should lead to first production in the FIRST half of 2000. I suppose "second half of 2000" is a misprint, it should be either "first half" or first (or second) quarter of 2000. The company is hopeful it will get the go-ahead in May/June, and after that there's 6-9 months to first production. Not more than 12 months from submitting the plan to first oil.
