Can any body confirm that Microsoft has shelved its Tax Preperation program "TaxSaver" for tax year 98, pushing its release back to tax year 99? Rumor has it they have told retailers as much, but I haven't seen public confirmation yet.

Product delays are of course nothing new for MSFT and should surprise no one. The cost of development of this software or the revenue it would bring in won't amount to a footnote on MSFT's balance sheet, but it is a big positive for the 80% market share holder, TurboTax (i.e. Intuit).
