Compared to the other small cap mining stocks this company at least has a major player involved. Out of the three stocks I have held in this sector MIQ is the only one that still shows any future return. I know that I'm not the only one who has had the opportunity at one time to sell this stock and make a few dollars, BUT it was me and ONLY me that made the poor choice of holding on only to watch it tank!

just my thoughts

Rick

Hi Grant...I am not a "significant" investor, but nonetheless,
I am very frustrated as well. I invested in MIQ with the knowledge
that it would be part of the 'high risk' portion of my portfolio, but
I expected more from management. I guess i would have thought there
would be more of a sense of urgency in trying to manage a plummeting stock price & more of a desire to communicate to shareholders.

I guess the majority of my frustration comes from the fact that there
has been primarily "good news" coming out of their camp, yet the stock
continues to dive, seemingly regardless of what the market is doing
in general.

I am going to sit patiently and wait for results. I am relatively new
to the investing game...and I am going to stick it out with the hope of gaining experience for future investing endeavours.

My only regret is that I should have put more emphasis on the quality
of the management team. While this is just a gut feel on my part, I
have the impression that MIQ is not anywhere on Mr Speros' radar screen.

Regards....Chris

Hello Grant and all,
I am just as frustrated as most miq shareholders. However, I fully realize there is very little I can do. Kinross/miq will do as they please when they please. I do not condone this but it is a fact. I rarely check the share price and I will re-examine my position at Christmas.
In the meantime the stock market is collapsing and since there is very little money to be made on the upside I am trying to make some on the down side. IMHO our time is better spent safeguarding our portfolio. This puppy will still be around latter and who knows there is still hope for a Christmas gift :).
