Any thoughts about buying Gold or silver futures and taking delivery vs. coins (particularly as a Y2K hedge)? I would think the premium would be less, and the bars would be easier to break up than coins.

(Not that I expect a worst case senario.)

Say the worst case scenario doesn't occur. You wake up January 1, 2000 and the lights are on the water is running and the ATM is in operation. What does this do to the value of the inflated gold coins? Do you not create your own depression?
