Berney .. It's amazing to me that there is still talk about how lowering interest rates is good for stocks.

Lowering interest rates just weakens the underlying currency and causes liquidity to flow elsewhere.

The main reason that we have had the bull run that we did (IMHO) is the interest rates that we kept high.

New world order?? I still don't see a universal world wide currency. Perhaps you were looking forward to balanced interest rates worldwide? The longer that Europe drags their feet toward this end the more that liquidity will flow in that direction.

It's to bad that the Japanese bought the line and dropped their rates. Their markets are still attempting to recover from that .. and so now is ours.

Fix all the worlds economies at the same time? God could .. BC? His halo is a little to tarnished for the job.

Have you heard that there is still an active slave trade going on in Africa? Could the world give the Sudan enough money to stop that? I don't think so.
