ZMAX Corporation Wins Material Y2K Consulting & Compliance Award From Westchester County Health Care Corporation

GERMANTOWN, Md.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 4, 1998--ZMAX Corporation (Nasdaq Small Cap: ZMAX) announced today that its wholly owned subsidiary Century Services Incorporated ("CSI") has been awarded and signed a contract with Westchester County Health Care Corporation ("Westchester") in the state of New York to provide Year 2000 (Y2K) consulting and compliance services for all of Westchester's operations, including medical devices, physical plant, facilities equipment, and computer systems.

CSI will provide these services in partnership with Tava Technologies, Inc., NASDAQ: TAVA ("Tava") and BioMed y2k, a division of Colorado Medtech, Inc., NASDAQ: CMED ("BioMed").
