While visiting my grocery store this morning, I made a stop at
the Velveeta display. Most prominent was the classic big yellow
box of Velveeta with its slogan "Made to Melt". But there was
also Velveeta Light, Velveeta Mild Mexican and packages of
Velveeta Slices, including an "Extra Thick" version.

Immediately adjacent to to the Velveeta display were shelves
filled with Depends and Serenity personal care products.
I wondered if this was happenstance or the result of extensive
marketing research. In any event it struck me that Velveeta
may suffer from a somewhat staid image, and I wondered if
Kraft should consider a new angle like hiring Jimmy Buffett to write
a catchy jingle and call it, say, Velveetaville . . .

Only on the Muni (part of SF's transit system). Now THAT is Perversia.
