Michael, I don't even have time to be here at all right now, let alone reread thousands of posts. I do believe your attack on Wiccans started in about February of 1997, however. Liz Mack asked that people at Feelings stop making remarks like "Go with God" or whatever, because they offended her, since religious people had burned all the witches. Still, as I recall, you persisted. We can do this another way, which will save a lot of reading of ancient posts. All you have to do is address the issue now. For example, do you agree with the U.S. Army, that Wiccans are harmless, spiritual, positive, and make good soldiers? Do you know any Wiccans in the Army? Apparently there are quite a few! How you do feel about the pagan school I am going to start just as soon as your tax dollars start going for vouchers to religious schools? I am going to make some money!! I am going to teach chanting, pagan dance steps, sage incense making, and all sorts of magic spells, along with reading, writing and arithematic. Do you think that is a good use of your tax dollars? My school would be very strong in the academic subjects. You don't seem to get the very basic point that it is not really okay to joke about burning "witches", regardless of the context. Would you think it was funny if your wife was tied up nude and burned alive while hundreds of people watched and listened to her scream? Don't say it's different because she's not a witch, because those women who were burned were innocents just like her. In regard to the whale and the Indians, you seem to assume that most people hold very rigid beliefs, and that if they support basic Indian rights, that they must believe that it is all right to kill whales, automatically (even though many of the Indians don't even agree, and there is a federal environmental law against it unless it is for subsistence and there is an UNBROKEN tribal tradition). That logical leap is unfair, and I have made it clear that I don't agree with it at all. Anyway, I would argue that I am quite logical, and that you are forgetful AND insensitive. ;^)
