Analysts have 18 holds, 1 buy, 3 strong buys. Analysts say AMD just picks up the crumbs from the table and have no other than a minor niche position, that the new K7 not being pin compatible with INTC stuff will be a disaster, etc.

Sure is a lot of room for upgrades. Some initial K7 customers sure would be cool.

Just think if corporations that still have older systems like 486's etc decide for Y2K to throw them out and get sub 1000 dollar pcs. Since they are throwing out INTC machines they may want to try a new brand. After all, the pc's they are throwing out have Intel inside.
