STRM hadn't just preannounced they couldn't make their earnings. They were positioned in a market with no real competing technology. GE in the LAN is emerging as the leading technology in FORE's primary market. It will not be easy to take business from the likes of CSCO and ASND in the WAN. As a result, the stock price is at 10. Explain to me why LU or anyone else would pay 2 to 3 times the going price for this company? Typically, you receive a 30% premium. If they were to sell at these levels, you wouldn't be happy.
