I think this is what's happening already. Maybe in developing
countries, there will be "voice only" networks created, but
I doubt it.

RE: WCOM. Yes, I've been waiting for these guys to get moving
big time. They were held up for almost a year I think by
the FCC giving them approval to merger with MCI. As soon
as they got the OK just recently, I have seen major displays of advertising all over the place. They have to be careful because they
are probably taking on massive debts to build the new networks,
but still, they are moving very fast once given the OK. That's
my understanding of it.

Hopefully, they will create panic and fear in the other "legacy
telecom companies", AT&T and RBOCs, and get their butts moving.
