Bought 15 Nov 20s ABX Puts. I will be thrilled if ABX continues higher, as I have stock and Jan calls. But, if it goes lower, an opportunity will develop for me.

Dell looks sickly, but I can't bring myself to short at this level.

Papaya King - are there any gold stocks besides ABX, NEW and ASA which you like for more, shall we say, "speculative" money??

Mike

>>the techs and AMD<<
Frankly, I was astounded at the pounding AMD took. Like you, I thought they would be up. The NAZ was really nasty today. AU doing well BUT - I'm not a believer yet. Russia starts to sell and it could head south in a big hurry. My best investment so far? exiting this market in early Sept. with my +23% YTD intact. I'm not anxious to reenter at this point, although I will admit to a little avarice, as in, Gee, I wish I'd continued to hold NEM instead of what I did -bought at 18 and sold at 22 1/2!
