Zip discs are 42% more expensive than HiFi on an absolute basis. Besides, the specs for HiFi completely blow away Zip. And, it is floppy compatible. LS-120 might as well say their prayers. And expect a 50% drop in retail Zip drive sales by the start of March compared to now. It appears that Teac will indeed manufacture the Internal HiFi drive. They are probably re-tooling their floppy drive equipment as we speak readying for the January 1999 delivery date.
