Airbus boasted about their ability to sell airplanes, well, now they have to build them...

This is out of the Baltimore Sun today:

Airbus CEO calls dollar's fall a 'calamity' for firm

Airbus Industrie Chief Executive Noel Forgeard
said yesterday that the dollar's recent decline against
European currencies is a "calamity" for the plane
maker, whose revenue is in dollars but whose costs
are in European currencies.

His remarks, made in a speech at a Paris business
conference, indicate that even as Airbus has won
record orders, it faces considerable hurdles in
meeting its goal of being a profitable company that
will one day attract investors on international stock
exchanges.

Forgeard also indicated that his company could
possibly face production delays, as has Boeing Co.,
Airbus' only rival in the market for large
commercial aircraft.
