LT,

A good way to own gold other than stocks are mutual funds. I was considering FSAGX (Fidelity's American Gold Fund). There is a 30 day window from the day you buy it, so that if you want to sell it within that 30 days, you must pay a percentage based exit fee. It's not much (.75%), but it is something.

Can you re-iterate you ST (4-8 weeks) and LT (3-6 months) thinking about gold? Both the same position? Just buy it? I'm trying to decide on if this should be a ST or longer term Core holding.
