CobaltBlue, RE: credit card companies. My cable is out for the day, is DoJ action related to the persistent high interest rates, as in price fixing? Those rates are going to kill the consumers at a time everything is going down the toilet so I can see an attempt to keep the good ship USA afloat. (Although with all these promo 3.9% balance transfer programs I can't figure out why anyone would pay 18% - just keep rolling 'em every 6 months.) As far as Russia, the BBC guy was worried they might start eyeing their former southern States, not necessarily Iran, Iraq, etc. They would really have to be nuts to go after them. -g- Regards, IS Jeez, SI is overwhelmed again.
