>>The new jaz2 will be around $349 list..<<

Meanwhile, the new Castlewood Orb (which is already shipping to OEM's BTW) lists for $199 and 2.2 Gig discs that list for $29.

Folks, Jaz2 is in a world of hurt.

>>.interest is high for clik from the ingram end, although i expect the big sales will go direct to ioms partners... <<

"Partners?" Like who? Not one OEM has signed on to build Vapor! into ANYTHING.

$349 for Jaz2 sounds good. I hope they lower the price to $299 by early next year. This will put the final nail in SYQT's coffin and also will stop the momentum of CD-RW. ORB will also find it tough to gain any market share (when it ships). It is high time IOM locks this market from new entrants.

BTW, what is new with this Jaz2? I thought the one already available is ultra scsi??
